Master of Architecture Graduate Program Graduate Assistants

Some good news to report, 13 out of 15 of the Master of Architecture Program incoming graduate students or almost 87% have received full tuition waivers and a monthly stipend (ranging from $750-$1,000). GA positions have been granted to our students from the University, various Design Center research initiatives including the Community Design Workshop, Building Institute, and Coastal Community Resilience Studio. Additional support has come from the Regional Application Center, Career Services/Career Counseling Center, and the Office of Sustainability.

Program wide, 56% of our graduates receive a tuition waiver and monthly stipend or are employed by one of the various Design Center research initiatives in a paid internship. Other supporters include the USGS National Wetlands Center, the Office of Information Systems Management, and the Center for Louisiana Studies.

As last minute calls for Graduate Assistants are posted there is an opportunity for even more of our students to affordably complete their architectural graduate education while gaining valuable professional experience.

Thank you to all of you who have made it possible for our students to be in these positions.
