Graduate Architecture Students Visit Midtown Houston

Fifth year architecture graduate students along with professors Sammons, Smith, and Latiolais went to Houston last weekend to meet with the Midtown Redevelopment Authority and tour the Midtown area. They were able to see a few of the group's new parks, rain gardens, and complete urban streets. This trip provided a excellent learning experience for the ARCH 502 students, who are currently working on the I-49 project. They can learn from Midtown Houston as a precedent for their own urban design projects.
