The annual conference was held virtually from September 23rd through 25th, bringing together architects, designers, and sponsors from around Louisiana and beyond. In the presentation of the award, Eddie Cazayoux, architect and former School of Architecture and Design Director, outlined Professor LaSala's achievements and pedogogical impact on the SoAD over 45 years in the department. In his tribute, Cazayoux described LaSala as an "...Exceptional educator in the creative thinking process of design".
