On September 12–14, six Industrial Design students from the fourth-year and third-year: Clay Tucker, Connor Mayer, Hadley Swier, Chandler Burns, Aidan Oddløkken, and Sam Campbell made the trek to the International Design Conference (IDC) and Educational Symposium in Seattle, Washington hosted by the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA). Our students were the largest student-group of the entire conference! The core of this three-day event was the professional practice and educational landscape of Industrial Design. In addition to exploring Seattle, students had the opportunity to see great lectures, participate in workshops alongside professional, meet ID Super-Hero’s, and network at the industry parties.
