The University of Louisiana at Lafayette is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award baccalaureate, master's, and doctorate degrees. In 2022 the university underwent the Compliance Certification for Reaffirmation of Accreditation process; in 2025 it will undergo the Fifth-Year Interim Report, and in 2030 it will undergo the Compliance Certification for Reaffirmation of Accreditation Process.
